Allows Use of Porter-Cable Template Guides on Bosch 1617 Routers

Simple adapter that clips inside the Bosch template guide adapter. You will need this (or something similar) to use Porter-Cable type guide bushings (such as the ones that come with the PC Dovetail Template)because the hole in the Bosch router plate is larger than the PC. Note that the Bosch PR010 Round Sub base for Threaded Temp Guides for Bosch Colt Palm Routers will not work on the full size Bosch 1617 size routers; the screws don't line up. I bought both items at my local Rockler after the clerk told me the PR010 was what I needed. But after receiving product misinformation from Rockler many times in the past, I decided to get both & see which one fit; glad I did. Woodcraft also sells a clear Router Base Plate With Centering Pin that is supposed to do the same thing with PC style guide bushing & is also drilled for Bosch 1615, 1617/1618 series and many other router bases. I also have a Woodcraft nearby & will pick one up tomorrow, as I like a clear router base. But if you have any PC type guide bushings and want to use your Bosch 1617 type router, you will need one of these adapters, and the Bosch RA1100 will work fine.
