  I don't know why I was asked to rate the item as a toy, since it obviously isn't, but here goes. These are half-sheets of silicon-carbide sandpaper. I bought them to finish sand a new lacquer finish on a guitar. Not a refinish, but sanding and smoothing a new clear coat. The range of grits in this package was everything I needed, except for one sheet of 2,000 grit for the last sanding before buffing out. The paper doesn't clog much, which is nice. The problem is the backing. For wet-sanding, the paper needs to be soaked overnight for best results. I didn't do this. I just placed it in water for a few minutes prior to sanding. After a little sanding, the backing started balling up under my fingers, disintegrating. Soaking it overnight may have been disastrous. A sanding block would have probably prevented this, but I couldn't use a sanding block, due to the contours. I did use a sponge as a block, though- for the edges. A couple of the sheets, the 800 and 1000 grits, also released the cutting medium from the paper and left it all over the surface. Lots of wiping. In short, it does okay, but could be better for the price. If you do a lot of wet sanding, and need something durable, you'd probably be better off with 3M fre-cut paper. For a single project, though, this little package may be what you need.
