The real bulldog !

I previously owned the bulldog extreme however it was not as heavyduty as I would have liked. So I upgraded to the bulldog extreme max. First off this drill is heavier with an anti-vibration system and more power. The anti-vibration feature is very impressive and I was shocked when I used it first time. The power was not an issue on the plain bulldog but the issue was severe heating of the hammer drive when used non stop for long periods and in my case this led to the drill leaking gear oil though the Sds chuck and other parts of the drill. The bulldog extreme max has a ridged metal plate over the top of the hammer drive for improved heat dissipation and if that was not enough the said plate is vented and cooled by forced air continously flowing through the vents when the drill is in operation. Also the case of this unit is more sturdy and has more space for drill bits and accesories. I highly recommend this German made drill for the medium to heavy duty user.
