These blades are great. They're not cheap (5-pack way to go), but really intended for specific use where you don't have any options. These blades were intended for hardwoods. Used mine on removing sections of 2x4 pressure treated (dense/hard/heavy) deck boards that needed replacement, where you couldn't use a recip, sabre or circ saw. Plunge worked great, and got around 15+ cuts before blade was wearing down. No sense trying to extend blade life as it will just take considerably more time and overheat your tool. Like the tool manual says, let the tool do the work (don't force it), and you will get the most life out of your blade. Cuts through nails, but avoid this as it will dull blade. Next job will be to cut oak flooring (to weave in new boards) and the plywood underlayment along kitchen cabinets. Haven't had the chance to try the Oshlun blade yet (priced much cheaper), but read a review that said these blades wear down the tools mounting nobs.
