Bought this blade for my circular saw when I installed 1/2-inch engineered strand bamboo flooring in the house, The bamboo is supposed to be many times harder than oak floors. This saw made smooth cuts with out any chipping, I used it primarily for ripping planks to the proper width for end rows and around walls etc. Handled everything I asked it to do. You could go for an 800 or 100 tooth blade but I found this 60 tooth to be perfectly adequate.
